Bottle Bar will host an epic day of sourness to kick off Philly Beer Week. Catch some Au Ra on draft alongside many other sours.
Tuesday, June 7th, 7-9pm
Here’s an event where we aren’t even sure if we can fit any guests in the bar after all of the brewers, but we’ll sure try! (What’s a “max capacity” anyway?) Come hang out on Tuesday, June 7th from 7-9pm with brewers and beers from the likes of Tired Hands, Oxbow Brewing Company and Pizza Boy/Intangible Ales. The Tired Hands beers include new collaborative brews with Jolly Pumpkin and Jester King. All of the beers will be offered at special pricing—even the Intangible Au Ra, which is incredibly rare (intangible, actually) and was kegged for just a handful of bars. Lots of beers, lots of fun.
Wednesday, June 8, 2016, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
New Cumberland, Pennsylvania
5-course beer dinner featuring food from The Garlic Poet, with each plate accompanied with a beer from Pizza Boy Brewing Co. or Intangible Ales. Tickets are $100 each and support the fight against cancer.

BTW, for those of you who don’t know, this is a love story…
We here at Martha really love Intangible Ales. In fact , this winter while we were getting ready to open the doors Martha, we were lucky enough to grab a bottle of their Jawn of the Dead from Bottle Bar East. Not only was it a delicious, soul nourising, and inspirational beet sour beer (we LOVE beets at Martha), but the label’s photography and design also had a great impact on us and our final design ideas for the bar. The spearation of red (sunset) and blue (midday) influenced our lighting choices and gave us some much needed final direction.
